While at Yale and Cal, we witnessed year-on-year how the recruiting process unfolded. We learned from the coaches what characteristics they were looking for and how getting the right athletes can build a winning team. When we work with athletes, we instill these characteristics into our teachings.
Through our time in the sport, we have developed a vast network across the U.S. collegiate environment. We have a clear understanding of how college recruiters think and operate and what they are looking for.

I’m Sholto! I graduated from Yale University in 2018 with a degree in Economics, and since then, I’ve been rowing on the GB Rowing team. I recently won a Gold Medal at the Paris Olympics and have experienced success at multiple World and European Championships.
Having gone through the college recruiting process from a state school, I know firsthand the challenges that athletes face. I have experienced the ups and downs of the recruiting journey and will help make your experience as smooth as possible.
I am passionate about the values of the American educational system and understand the significance of striking a balance between success on the water and academic achievements in the classroom.
My goal is to make these opportunities available to as many young rowers as possible.

I'm Jack. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2019, where I studied PPE and competed as a collegiate rower. I also pursued a master's in Economics at VU University in Amsterdam while rowing for A.S.R. Nereus in 2020.
My journey in rowing began at Hinksey Sculling School during my last year of school, where I achieved a 6.43 2k. I then spent a gap year at Leander, enabling me to focus on intensive training and significantly improve my 2k time to 6.17. This 2k score played a pivotal role in my recruitment to row for Cal, Berkeley.
During my freshman year at Cal, I stroked the freshman 8 and pulled a 6.03 2k, winning the Pac-12 conference title. In my final three years, I rowed in the Cal varsity 8, securing multiple medals at the IRA national championships and won the Head of the Charles regatta twice, and setting a new record, surpassing the U.S. national team's mark by 29 seconds. In 2018, I proudly represented Great Britain, clinching a gold medal in the Mens 8 at the University World Championships in Shanghai.
I joined the coaching team at Hinksey Sculling School in 2020, where I coached and guided rowers through the college admissions process and coached athletes to the clubs first Henley Royal Regatta Final. Consequently, three of those talented athletes gained admission, along with scholarships, to Berkeley, Stanford, and Syracuse.
Our team has a track record of excellence and success both on the water and in the classroom.
All of our team members are recent graduates from Ivy League schools and elite institutions, including UC Berkeley. They have competed at the Olympics or World Championships, bringing home medals. Knowing that our mentors have recently succeeded at the highest levels of both the sport and the college admissions process gives our students confidence that we understand the current landscape, allowing them to focus on what matters.
